General Guidelines
No one under the age of 16 may be left unsupervised in any area of the Family Room at any time unless you are the parent of the patient. There is no smoking in any area of the Family Room. Please respect the room and others by cleaning up after yourself.

Phones
No cell phones can be used in the Family Room or Quiet Room. There is a telephone available in the Family Room for local calls. A second telephone is available in the Quiet Room.

Audio Library
Audio tapes, walkmans, and book packs may be signed out on a daily basis. Only two tapes may be signed out at a time and must be returned within 24 hours. We have a limited number of walkmans for sign out.

Kitchen
Help yourself to any drinks and snacks in the cabinets and refrigerator. There are always paper plates, cups, and plastic silverware available in the cabinet. All items are provided at no charge, but cans of soda in the refrigerator are 50 cents each. All opened food must be labeled with a date and name and will not be stored more than 3 days.

Living Room
The living room area has a television, VCR, and a computer. Lying down on the sofa is not permitted as this would create an uncomfortable area for others to use. Music may be listened to only with headphones.

Computer Station
Please respect the 30 minute time limit on the computer so that others may benefit from it as well. No drinks are allowed at the computer station.

Bathroom and Shower Area
A private shower is available for guests of the Family Room. Towels, washcloths, bathmats, soaps, and shampoo will be provided.

Laundry Room
Laundry detergent and fabric softener will be provided. Towels, washcloths, and bathmats should be washed after each use.
